Residential electrical work
Residential electrical work, most often as part of a remodel — a kitchen that needs circuits where there were none, a bathroom that needs proper GFCI protection, a room being opened up that needs its lighting rethought rather than relocated. Outlets, switches, fixtures, dedicated circuits and panel work. Old houses in this part of Illinois routinely turn up wiring that was fine when it went in and is not fine now, and that gets flagged when we find it rather than buried behind new drywall.
How We Work
Look at the Job
We come out and look at the actual work — what is there now, what is underneath it, and what condition it is really in. On a roof that means getting up on it rather than judging it from the driveway, because the decking under the shingles decides most of what happens next.
Scope & Materials
We walk you through what the job needs and what it does not, and settle the materials before anything is ordered. You get told what is being replaced and what is being kept, so there are no discoveries halfway through that change the number.
Protect & Build
The property gets covered before the work starts — landscaping, siding and windows on a tear-off, floors and fixtures on an interior job. Then the work goes in, and the site gets swept down at the end of each day rather than at the end of the job.
Walk It With You
We go over the finished work together before we leave, magnet-sweep the ground for nails on a roofing job, and haul the debris away. Anything that is not right gets put right then, not on a return visit you have to chase.
